How do I make payment?
All major credit/debit cards are accepted through our secure server at the last stage of the checkout process. Payment can also be made over the telephone via our sales hotline freephone 0845 050 8162.
Are my credit/debit details secure?
Yes. We use Sage Pay as our processor meaning that we do not see your credit/debit card details. Sage Pay uses 128 bit SSL encryption to safeguard your details ensuring that they remain secure. For further information on Sage Pay′s service click here.

Is it possible to have my own image on the show plates you produce?
Yes it is possible to have your own image on the plates. When placing your order simply select the 'your own badge' option. Then once you have placed your order email us with your desired image as an attachment. Please make sure all files are sent in JPG or TIFF format.
I have placed an order, when should I expect to receive it?
The majority of orders placed before 3pm (Mon -Fri) are dispatched the same day. You can check the status of your order by logging into your account by clicking here
Can I cancel my order?
When you place your order it is immediately passed to our production department to begin manufacturing. Because of the speed with which we manufacture plates and the personalised nature of the product it is not possible to cancel your order once it has been placed. I like the look of my show plate, but can you design a badge for me?

Can you apply an image to my number plate?
You cannot modify a road legal number plate in any way. If you did it would be deemed illegal. Artwork can only be applied to show plates!
I′d like my order to be dispatched to my work address, is this possible?
Yes. Please make sure you provide your billing address (this is the address where your bank statement is sent to) when paying through our secure server as to expedite delivery and allow everything to go through smoothly.
I′ve entered a registration I′d like to buy which I have seen advertised elsewhere for over £300.00, how come it has come up on your website for just over £20.00?
We sell the physical plates that you actually attach to the body work of your car, not the registration certificate.We have just partnered up with Reg Transfers and you are now able to buy your new registration by clicking here.
I′d like to order more than one product how do I do this ?
Simply add your item to the basket. This is done by selecting the product you want to purchase and then clicking ′add to cart′ once you have selected all the items you would like to add to the basket select ′checkout′ and pay.
My registration number is D44 REN can I remove the space? My registration number is H14 DAM, can I space it differently i.e. as H1 4DAM?
Sure you can, this would however be classed as show plate.
I′m trying to work out whether I should put two spaces in the middle of my show plate, should I?
Well consider this, the space in the middle of your registration must be 33mm on a road legal non-import/non-bike plate. If you were to add two spaces on a show plate it would result in a 55mm gap (this only applies for plain legal or 3D font), three spaces would be 77mm and four spaces would be 99mm. It is up to you.
Do I have to have www.mylicenceplate.co.uk at the bottom of my number plate?
There is two ways to look at this. In order for your number plate to be compliant with BSAU145d we are obliged to display our company name, RNPS number and the British Standard number on the bottom of your number plate. This law applies wherever you purchase your road legal number plate from. The only way around this is to purchase a show plate.
Are your number plates guaranteed?
All our number plates have a 12 month guarantee. If you have a problem with defective acrylic, all you have to do is email us a picture of your defective number plate along with your name, address, phone number and plate details if they cannot be readily seen in full from the picture. We will then rectify this by replacement.
Do you take telephone orders?
Of course, unlike many other companies online we also take telephone orders. Due to our advertising in popular magazines and large web presence the phone lines can get prety busy. If you don′t get through, email us requesting a call back. Our sales hotline is freephone 0845 050 8162.
Do I need to drill holes in the number plates I receive?
Not necessarily, we recommend you stick your number plate on with either 1mm sticky pads or 6mm sticky spacer pads (included free with all number plate orders). Please see our fitting section by clicking here.
Why do you want my telephone number?
If there is a problem with your order, or something that is not clear, we will have to contact you to make sure we fully understand what you require. These details are NOT given to any third party they are for our own use only.
Do you manufacture pre-1973 number plates?
Yes, we manufacture black and silver (or black and white/black and chrome) acrylic classic number plates. Please note these are not pressed metal, we can however source these, contact us by clicking here for a quote.
